Yemeni Houthis announced an attack on Ben Gurion airport

The Houthis from the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement attacked the Israeli Ben Gurion airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile. This was announced on August 1 by Yahya Saria, the official representative of the armed forces of the movement, on the air of the Al Masirah TV channel.

"The operation achieved its goal with high accuracy, which led to a complete shutdown of the airport," the TV channel quoted him as saying.

It is specified that the attack was carried out using a hypersonic ballistic missile of the type "Palestine-2". According to the statement of the armed forces, this operation was a direct response to the genocidal actions that they claim Israel is carrying out in the Gaza Strip. This action is also an expression of Yemen's continued support for the Palestinian people.

In his statement, Saria clarified that military operations will continue until the complete cessation of Israeli aggression and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
