More than 80% of social facilities in Moscow have been prepared for the new heating season

Moscow city management specialists have prepared over 80% of social facilities for the upcoming heating season. This was announced on Friday, August 1, by Peter Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and Landscaping.

Special attention is paid to the preparation of social facilities, where heat is supplied first of all at the beginning of the season, writes RT. Thus, over 6,700 facilities have already been prepared for the heating season, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals, polyclinics, cultural and sports institutions, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

The deputy mayor added that large-scale work is continuing in the city: hydraulic tests of heating networks are being carried out in order to identify and eliminate weak areas in advance.

In total, it is planned to inspect more than 18 thousand km of pipelines and prepare more than 74 thousand buildings, including more than 34 thousand residential buildings, Moscow 24 clarifies.
