An electrician died during restoration work on a power line in the Pskov region.

In the Gdovsky district of the Pskov region, a worker who was carrying out emergency repair work on a power transmission line was killed. An inspection has been organized, according to the SU IC of Russia on Friday, August 1.

"According to preliminary data, during the emergency recovery work on power transmission lines in the Gdovsky district, a worker died. The circumstances of the death are being established," the report says.

A pre-investigation check has been organized. Forensic examinations have been appointed, the Pskov news feed clarifies. Based on the results of the inspection, a decision will be made to initiate a criminal case.

A week ago, three workers died at a construction site in the south of Moscow. Two of them fell into a 5 m deep well with methane and lost consciousness. Another worker went downstairs to rescue his colleagues, but couldn't get out either.
