Aksyonov named the most popular tourist destinations in Crimea

The southern coast has become the most popular region of Crimea among tourists. Since the beginning of 2025, 48% of the total number of vacationers have preferred it, said the head of the republic, Sergey Aksenov.

In total, more than 3.74 million people visited the peninsula during this period. The West Coast received 26% of travelers, the East Coast — 12%.

In just two summer months, 2.2 million people rested in the republic. The busiest hotels during the holiday season were in Saki — 77%, slightly less than in Yevpatoria and Yalta — 74% and 73%. The average level in Crimea was 67%.

Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of 2025, Sevastopol has been visited by about 142.9 thousand travelers. In summer, hotel occupancy is expected to increase by more than 80%.
