The amount of fines for parking in the yards of the Moscow region for six months exceeded 25 million rubles. The Ministry of Territorial Maintenance and State Housing Supervision of the Moscow Region announced this on Friday, August 1.

"Over the past six months, the total amount of fines issued for parking in courtyards has exceeded 25 million rubles. On average, there are more than 200 decisions on bringing to justice every week," the report says.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the number of violations increased by 25% compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of the second half of 2025, 425 violations of parking rules in courtyards have already been recorded.

So, in July, the most fines were issued in Krasnogorsk — more than a hundred. Approximately 30 violators were registered in Mytishchi and Dmitrov, and more than 25 in Podolsk.

On July 31, it was reported that State Duma deputies proposed to establish uniform days of free parking in paid places throughout Russia. The relevant bill has been prepared and will be submitted to the lower house of Parliament in the near future.
