At least 83 people have been killed and 554 injured in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip. This was announced on August 1 by the press service of the enclave's Ministry of Health.

"Over the past 24 hours, 83 dead people have been admitted to hospitals in the Gaza Strip...> and 554 wounded," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the Ministry of Health, 53 of them died, more than 400 were injured as a result of the humanitarian crisis in the region. It is noted that a number of victims continue to remain under the rubble after the shelling. Emergency services are trying to get to them.

Thus, the total number of victims of the escalation of the conflict in Gaza has increased to 60,332 since October 2023, with more than 147,000 people affected.
