Summary of the special operation in Ukraine for the week

A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. During the week, the Russian Armed Forces carried out seven group strikes against military installations in Ukraine. The damage was inflicted on enterprises of the infrastructure of military airfields, the military-industrial complex, warehouses of robotic complexes, workshops for the production of drones and their components, control points for long-range drones, missile weapons and ammunition, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations, nationalists and foreign mercenaries.

During the week, the Russian army destroyed 34 ammunition, materiel and fuel depots, as well as 42 electronic warfare and counter-battery warfare stations belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Units of the Southern Group of Forces, continuing to move deep into the enemy's defenses, liberated the town of Chasov Yar in the DPR. During the offensive, the Center group of troops liberated the settlements of Boykovka, Belgiyka and Novoukrainka.

"Over the past week, units of the Vostok group of forces have advanced into the depths of the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlements of Zelyony Gai in the Donetsk People's Republic, Maliyivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Temirovka in the Zaporizhia region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

During the week, the Air Defense Forces destroyed six rockets of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, six guided aerial bombs, a guided long-range Neptune missile, three Czech-made Vampire multiple launch rocket systems and 1,446 aircraft-type drones.

The capture of the city opens the way for Russian troops to Konstantinovka and the Kramatorsk-Slavyanskaya agglomeration.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 664 aircraft, 73,848 unmanned aerial vehicles, 2,8065 field artillery and mortars, 283 helicopters, 24,407 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 624 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,584 multiple rocket launchers, 38,982 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
