Lada Granta cars will receive a propane-powered modification

The Lada Granta model will receive a serial modification with propane gas cylinder equipment. This was announced by the press service of the ATS group of companies, which cooperates with AvtoVAZ in the creation of methane (CNG) versions of Lada Largus and Vesta.

The volume of the gas cylinder embedded in Lada Granta is 42 liters. The propane version produced at the plant will cost about 50 thousand rubles more expensive than the gasoline one.

According to Alexey Suchkov, Director of ATS Group of Companies, it is planned to produce from 100 to 200 propane versions of cars per month. The market is practically unlimited, and everything will depend on demand, he said.

The Tolyatti plant also produces a methane Lada Granta, its own ATS project.
