The Russian crossover Tenet T8 will be presented to the public for the first time in August.

The Russian car brand Tenet will present its debut model, the T8 midsize seven-seat crossover, to the public for the first time in St. Petersburg on August 3. The presentation will take place as part of the Northern Capital half marathon, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia.

Tenet T8 will be presented at the Palace Square. Crossovers will also take part in the event as passenger cars and escort vehicles.

Earlier in July, Tenet announced the details of the T8 model's equipment. Details about the power plant, prices and timing of the start of sales have not yet been provided.

Serial production of Tenet cars will be established at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga (AGR Holding), the brand was created specifically for the Russian market. At the first stage, the brand's model range will include four crossovers: one B- and C-class model each, as well as two D-class SUVs. The cars are based on Chery.

The day before, it was reported that Exlantix ES hybrid sedans appeared in the showrooms of Exeed dealerships in Russia. The model is equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 469 hp with a peak torque of 634 Nm. The price of the model starts from 5.99 million rubles.
