Fines have been introduced in Turkey for passengers jumping up ahead of time.
Fines have been introduced in Turkey for passengers who jump out of their seats earlier than expected. This was reported by HavaSosyalMedya on August 1.
The innovation is due to the fact that some passengers stood up immediately after the landing of the Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft flying from Sofia to Istanbul. They tried to pick up their hand luggage and refused to return to their seats after requests from the flight attendants. The crew called the police.
"Passengers who get up after landing before the aircraft comes to a complete stop, open the luggage racks or leave their seats, despite the announcements, may be subject to administrative fines," the publication says.
The violators, according to preliminary data, were fined $70, the newspaper added.Ru».
Earlier, on February 27, Yaroslav Nilov, head of the Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs from the LDPR faction, informed Izvestia about a possible increase in fines for violating air travel rules to 1 million rubles. It was proposed to introduce a new rule on punishment for repeated violations of Articles of the Administrative Code 11.3 ("Actions threatening flight safety"), 11.4 ("Violation of the rules for the use of airspace") and 11.5 ("Violation of the rules for the safety of aircraft operation").
