- More than half of Muscovites spent money on sports holidays on the water this summer
59% of Muscovites have spent at least once this summer on sports holidays on the water. Of these, 29% rented pads, 15% rode a wakeboard or wakesurf, 9% tried an electric surfboard or flyboard, and another 6% chose wind surf or hydrofoil. Financial marketplace "I will choose.<url> conducted a survey and found out how the summer expenses of the citizens have changed. Izvestia got acquainted with the results of the study on August 3.
According to a <url> study, Muscovites between the ages of 25 and 35 show the greatest interest in water sports — almost 70% of them are water sports enthusiasts.
A separate issue concerned kicksharing. 44% of the respondents stated that they continue to use electric scooters regularly. 21% — that they started doing it less often, and 35% — that they don't use them at all. Among the reasons for the decrease in interest, the ban on joint trips was most often cited: renting two devices is more expensive, and two people can now be fined for riding together. For many, this was part of the urban romance, despite the obvious danger of this style of driving for pedestrians.
"Even staying in the city, Muscovites are looking for ways to spend the summer actively. It's not always about vacations, but rather about short trips, busy weekends, and exploring new types of outdoor activities. Over the past few years, more and more attention has been paid to water formats: boots, wakeboarding, and electric surfing. Such formats help Muscovites pass the summer days before their holidays and survive the heat," said the director of the Communications policy department of the financial marketplace "Choose.<url>" by Anna Romanenko.
On June 30, the association reported that Turkey became the most popular destination for Russian tourists in July. 35% of domestic travelers will go there. Russian destinations are in second place (18.4% of tourists), Egypt closes the top three with 15.4%. Abkhazia, Vietnam, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Maldives, China and Cuba also entered the top 10.
