Workers' movement on the bridge over the Chernaya River opened in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, on Friday, August 1, workers opened traffic on the bridge over the Chernaya River in Inkerman. Transport was launched in both directions, said the governor of the region Mikhail Razvozhaev in his social networks.

"We understand how important this transport artery is for the city, so on my instructions, we took special control of the progress of the work and were able to open traffic earlier than planned," he said.

At the moment, the readiness of the facility is 60%, writes IA SevastopolMedia. The builders restored the waterproofing and leveling layer, rebuilt the drainage system, laid new asphalt and installed a barrier fence.

Work continues on replacing the railing and restoring the protective layer on the supports and superstructure.

The bridge is being repaired as part of the National Infrastructure for Life project. The work is scheduled to be completed by November this year.

Earlier, in July, it was reported that Chelnokova Street would be closed in Sevastopol for a month. This is due to the continuation of the construction of a new road — Antique Avenue.
