Part of the school building collapsed in Makeyevka, DPR

In the city of Makeyevka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), part of the secondary school building No. 86 collapsed. This was announced on August 1 by Irina Lyakh, deputy head of the Makeyevka city district administration.

The emergency happened on Thursday, July 31. Lyakh noted that the assembly hall and workshops were located in the damaged part of the building.

"The cause of the collapse has not yet been determined. The relevant structures are working," the deputy head of the city district administration added.

Lyakh pointed out that the last repair of the roof in the part of the building where the destruction occurred was carried out in 2011.

In Ufa, on July 30, a partial collapse of a building wall occurred on Kommunisticheskaya Street. According to preliminary data, the facility was planned to be demolished. No one lived in it. The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan clarified that the agency had organized a check on the incident.
