In Sevastopol, an agent of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who handed over information about air defense to Ukrainian intelligence was detained.

FSB officers detained a Russian in Sevastopol who was collecting data on air defense facilities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on August 1 by the FSB's Public Relations Center.

"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol has suppressed the illegal activities of a Russian citizen, born in 1978, suspected of committing high treason," the report says.

According to the agency, the man independently contacted a representative of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine through the Telegram channel, which is used to collect intelligence information by Ukrainian intelligence.
