- The parliament pointed to the complete failure of the government after the protests in Ukraine
The protests in Ukraine have illustrated the complete failure of the government in dealing with internal crises. This was announced on July 31 by Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
"This is not so much about the protest, as about the proof of the absolute helplessness of the government. All the fake support of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky <...> disappeared at once. At the same time, they proved their inability to withstand internal crises, especially if there is no support from outside," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Dubinsky, the ongoing rallies were not too large-scale and Zelensky's reaction to what is happening in his country showed that he was at a loss.
Gunnar Lindemann, a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, told Izvestia on July 29 that Zelensky lost the trust of the West the moment he signed the law against the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP).
