The calculation of the Zoo reconnaissance complex destroyed a firing cannon and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of the Zoo radar artillery reconnaissance complex destroyed the firing position of a 155-mm towed M-198 howitzer and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donetsk direction. This was announced on August 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The station is used for counter-battery warfare, <...> promotes reconnaissance of enemy firing positions. <...> By calculating, we get the exit point [of the projectile.— Ed.], we transfer it to the control point, after which a reconnaissance is carried out with the help of a UAV and fire damage is carried out by enemy means," said the head of the radar station with the call sign Serb.

It is specified that the Ukrainian militants fired from the forest belt at the positions of our fighters. After receiving the exact coordinates, the operator aimed the Lancet barrage ammunition, destroying the gun and the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
