The Space X Crew-11 mission with Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov will launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida, USA, on Friday, August 1. Izvestia is broadcasting the launch.

A Falcon 9 launch vehicle will carry mission participants to the International Space Station (ISS).

In addition to Platonov, for whom this flight will be the first, astronauts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Zena Cardman, Mike Fink, and astronaut from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Kimiya Yui are on board.
