Nine car brands changed car prices in July

In July 2025, nine car brands changed the prices of cars in Russia. If there were seven such brands in the first half of the month, then only two in the second, the analytical agency Autostat reported on July 31.

So, Exeed changed the prices for all models. The most serious adjustment was noted for the TXL crossover, which in all versions became cheaper by 430-490 thousand rubles (minus 10.1–11.8%). The rest of the models also lost in price, except for the VX SUV in a six-seat version, which rose in price by 200 thousand rubles. (plus 3.4%).

In the second half of the month, KAMAZ adjusted the prices of the Compass 5 model. Some of its modifications have risen in price by 74-106.4 thousand rubles (plus 2-2.9%), while others have become cheaper by 40-107 thousand rubles (minus 1%-2.8%).

From July 1 to July 15, a change in the cost of new cars was recorded at Chery, Great Wall, Haval, Omoda, Tank, Wey and Moskvich. Moreover, they decreased for Chinese brands, and the domestic brand raised prices for the Moskvich 3 crossover in 2025 by 48 thousand rubles (plus 2.4–2.7%).

Earlier on the day, it was reported that in June 2025, the average amount of car loans issued amounted to 1.31 million rubles, an increase of 3% compared to the previous month (from 1.27 million rubles).

Prior to that, on July 29, it became known that by the end of June 2025, the average price of a used passenger car in Russia was almost 1.43 million rubles, which is 3.6% less than at the beginning of the half-year.
