On July 31, experts from Mains Lab told Izvestia about this, having studied the service's data to assess damage in the event of a Secunda accident.
At the same time, the percentage of CTP repair calculations for European car owners decreased by 3.6 percentage points (percentage points) year—on-year and amounted to 27.4%, Korean - by 3.1 percentage points to 18.9%. According to the company, the top five requests for insurance repairs for CTP in 2025 included the same five brands as a year earlier. However, the leadership passed to the Lada brand, which rose from the third position. Toyota moved from fourth place to second. Last year's leaders Kia and Hyundai (third and fourth places) began to appear much less frequently in the CTP repair reports.
It also turned out that the average repair cost (excluding CTP limits) for Chinese cars remained almost unchanged for six months and amounted to 93.5 thousand rubles. This is almost twice as low as the value for European cars for the same period — 173.3 thousand rubles (+40 thousand rubles). The repair price of Japanese and Korean cars amounted to 172.7 thousand rubles and 99.9 thousand rubles, showing an increase of 4524 and 2403 rubles, respectively. The cost of repairing Russian cars decreased by 1,418 rubles (to 70.3 thousand rubles).
This year, according to CTP, car owners most often needed to replace the rear (29%) and front (20%) bumpers, front headlight (23%), front fenders (16%), trunk lid (14%), tailgate (13%). The taillight, radiator grille, wheel drive and front door required repair in only 11% of cases. Only 8% of drivers needed to change the hood. Of the listed options, the rear door (57.8 thousand rubles), the trunk lid (53.6 thousand rubles) and the front headlight (40.5 thousand rubles) became the leaders in cost.
