The CEO of SMI2 named a way to use the creativity of foreign agents in Russia

The government could select representatives of creative professions from the list of foreign agents, whose works could be added to a special list available for everyone to perform and process at no additional cost. This proposal was made by Yuri Belousov, CEO of SMI2, on the air of Krym 24 radio.

According to him, thanks to this practice, foreign authors will not be able to impose bans on their use. In addition, thanks to this method, musical compositions will become part of the national heritage, which will allow anyone to perform and adapt popular songs.

"The easiest way is to give these works, which belong to foreign agents, the opportunity <...> to re-record. Even in some variations, use your own music, change the lyrics somehow, and so on," Belousov said.

Earlier, on June 27, it was reported that the Ministry of Justice had added comedian Evgeny Tricoz and rapper Nahum Blik (Dmitry Iordatiy) to the register of foreign agents. It is clarified that they disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation, opposed the special military operation in Ukraine, created a negative image of the Russian army and disseminated messages from other foreign agents.
