A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Last night, the Russian army launched a group strike with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC), the infrastructure of a military airfield, as well as a depot for ammunition, missile weapons and components for the production of drones. All designated targets were successfully hit.

In addition, missile forces, tactical aviation, artillery and attack drones of the Russian Armed Forces hit missile and artillery armament depots and temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and mercenaries in 147 districts. The Air Defense Forces, in turn, shot down 169 aircraft-type drones.

The southern group of troops liberated the town of Chasov Yar in the DPR. As a result of the group's actions, the enemy lost up to 150 militants, two vehicles and two artillery pieces during the day, and two ammunition depots were also destroyed.

At the same time, the units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses, while the North, West, and Center groups improved their position.

"Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized brigade, the coastal defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka, Novoandreevka, Zaporizhia region, Antonovka and Olgovka, Kherson region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

In total, during the special operation, the Kiev regime forces lost 664 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 73,691 UAVs, 624 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,395 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,584 multiple rocket launchers, 28,031 field artillery and mortars, as well as 38,946 units of special military vehicles.
