- Ukrainian media reported on the possible existence of NABU suspicion of the country's prime minister.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) may bring suspicion to the country's Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko because of her joint flights on a state plane with the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andriy Ermak. This was reported on July 31 in the Telegram channel "Country.ua" with reference to sources in the bureau.
"The case is related to Sviridenko's joint flights when she was first deputy prime minister with <...> Ermak. Sviridenko, unlike Ermak, according to his status has the right to use airplanes from the state aviation fleet. Therefore, according to the investigation, a number of her joint flights with Ermak were due not to the official need for Sviridenko to visit certain countries, but to the desire of the head of the Presidential Office to fly at public expense on a state aircraft," the article says.
NABU sees these actions as a crime, as the country's budget has suffered damage. According to the sources of the resource, the NABU may "give this case a go" — up to handing Sviridenko suspicion — if the Verkhovna Rada decides to return the bureau's powers.
"The sources also do not exclude the transfer of suspicion in this case to Ermak," the Telegram channel writes.
On July 30, Ukraine reported that NABU was preparing a case against Zelensky's associate Mindich. It was clarified that opponents of the head of the Kiev regime accuse his colleague of corruption schemes. According to Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who was placed in jail, Mindich oversaw corruption schemes in energy companies and other enterprises.
