Over 35 thousand people attended GARAGE FEST at the motorhome "Igor Drive"

On July 26 and 27, the Igor Drive 2025 GARAGE FEST was held at the motorhome "Igor Drive" in the Leningrad region. This year, the event was attended by over 35,000 people, the press service of the autodrome reported on July 31.

The VK studio worked at the festival, where racers, bloggers, experts and other famous people became guests. This year, she moved around the entire festival area. She also completed a lap on the highway-ring road of the autodrome. The total duration of the broadcast over the two days of the festival was almost 16 hours and gained over 6.3 million views.

On July 26, an endurance race was held on the highway ring road, in which 35 crews took part. On July 27, the Porsche Sport Challenge, a series in which all drivers compete in German—made cars, took place on the track. In addition, the RDS Open stage was held for two days at the concrete Colosseum, the drift site of the autodrome. The showman Big Russian Boss also became its participant. A series of the Media Drift project was filmed during the festival. He talks about the preparation of a showman to participate in competitions.

The engineering competition "Formula Student" was also held during the festival. It was attended by 15 teams from Russia, China and Turkey. The Chinese HV Racing Team, which represented the Guilin University of Aerospace Technology, won in two categories at once. Among the Russian teams, the best performers were Bauman Racing Team EV from Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman and Polytech North Capital Motorsport from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

For the first time, the Drive Design Fest design festival was held together with Formula Student. The guests were presented with an exhibition of student racing design works created over the past few years.

This year's Auto Culture section was dedicated to motorsport. As part of it, the festival guests saw about 200 rare and classic cars, many of which were on display for the first time. Among them were the Subaru Impreza WRX STI of 16-time Russian champion Sergey Uspensky and his rally raid prototype, rare Lancia Stratos and Toyota Celica of Group N provided by Grigory Berezkin, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Igor Drive Autodrom, as well as modern racing cars.

The record for the number of cars was the exposition of the RDRC, the Russian Drag Racing Championship and Cup. The audience was able to see from Opel Corsa and VAZ-2113 to dragsters and promo cars. For the first time in the history of the festival, the guests watched a simultaneous pair race of two dragsters Konstantin and Evgenia Knight with a capacity of more than 2000 hp each.

During the two days of the festival, the Ratata zone, a school for emergency driving, operated on the territory of the Emergency Training Center. Everyone was able to compete on a specially marked track with cones.

On the first day, singers Xolidayboy and Ani Lorak took the stage as part of the concert program. The program of Sunday and the entire festival ended with a concert by the stars of the Russian rock scene - the band "Three Days of Rain" and Garik Sukachev.
