The Historical Museum presents the exhibition "The Magic of Brilliance"

The Historical Museum presents an exhibition dedicated to the art of making jewelry and accessories of the XVIII – early XIX century, decorated with rhinestones and faceted steel. For the first time, exhibits created using these materials are being shown as self-valuable and self-sufficient luxury items.

About 250 unique exhibits from the collections of the Historical Museum, most of which had not previously been presented to a wide audience, will give visitors the opportunity to appreciate the rare beauty and technical perfection of the works of the past centuries. These are jewelry – earrings, rings, brooches, medallions, buttons, shoe buckles; fashion accessories – lorgnettes, spyglasses, watches, chatelains, fans; orders, ceremonial swords, Masonic signs; objects of personal piety – crosses, icons and icons; interior items – caskets, candlesticks, incense burners, as well as richly decorated decorated furniture.

These works of art will be an eye-opener for visitors, allowing them to take a different look at the materials traditionally considered imitative, and immerse themselves in the world of dazzling brilliance and elegant traditions!
