There are no plans to introduce changes in the procedure for organizing medical examinations of drivers and the form of a medical report from August 1 of this year. They will enter into force on March 1, 2027, said Alexey Kuznetsov, Assistant Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, TASS reported on July 31.

By that time, the authorities will have adopted the necessary by-laws, and detailed explanations have been prepared, Kuznetsov noted. Updates to the procedure for organizing medical examinations for drivers, including changing the form of the medical report, will come into force in the spring of 2027. They were adopted by Federal Law No. 200-FZ dated July 7 of this year "On Amendments to the Federal Law on Road Safety" and Article 10 of the Federal Law On Personal Data.

The fact that from August 1, the medical certificate form 003/vu, which all drivers received after a medical examination, should be converted to electronic format, RIA Novosti reported earlier that day with reference to auto expert Peter Shkumatov. According to him, the paper document will be issued a QR code and a reference number.

The day before, the Russian Interior Ministry said that information about the allegedly imposed 10-day deadline for car owners to notify the State Traffic Inspectorate of a change in permanent registration, which is distributed online, is not true.
