"Earlier, the eruption was not strong, although volcanic bombs flew to a height of 200-300 meters and ash was released in small quantities. And here there is an immediate discharge of 6 kilometers," said Alexey Ozerov, director of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
