"During the monitoring of the media, it was established that on the morning of July 31, 2025, an accident occurred on the power supply networks," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that residents of the Leninsky and Frunzensky districts were left without electricity. The supervisory Authority oversees emergency recovery operations. The prosecutor's office has begun an investigation into the power outage.

According to the prosecutor's office, since 2025, about 150 submissions have been issued for the late elimination of accidents on utility networks, as a result, about 70 persons have been administratively liable.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Amur Region reported on July 24 that nine settlements in four municipalities were left without electricity after a thunderstorm.
