The crew of the Mi-2NM helicopter struck a temporary deployment point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of responsibility of the Vostok group of forces. This was announced on July 31 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry clarified that the coordinates of the target were received by the crew before departure. The strike on the specified coordinates was carried out during the performance of a combat mission by the helicopter crew using a light multipurpose guided missile (LMUR).

It is noted that the target, according to intelligence information, was successfully hit, after which the crew returned to their home airfield.

On July 29, the Ministry of Defense reported that soldiers of the 123rd Separate Guards Motorized Rifle brigade of the South group of forces destroyed two control points for Ukrainian drones and an enemy ammunition depot in the area of a special military operation. It was clarified that 152 mm and 122 mm artillery pieces and an attack drone were involved in the operations to destroy the identified targets.
