Calculations of the UAV of the North group of forces destroyed the AFU copter control point

Calculations of the Supercam S350 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces destroyed the heavy copter control center and the accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation in the Kharkov direction. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 31.

"We have found <...> two calculations of "Baba Yaga" take off from where, when they were already flying back to their position, they waited. They flew to the positions, we transmitted the landing coordinates and have already worked specifically on these houses, where the enemy operators landed and destroyed them," said the head of the calculation with the call sign Sava.

UAVs equipped with high-resolution cameras and thermal imagers are used to detect targets and transmit their coordinates for strikes. They are also used to monitor the movement of equipment, camouflaged control points and enemy firing positions.

After completing the mission, the drone undergoes maintenance.

On July 30, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that UAV operators had eliminated the warehouse and control points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the SVO zone. It is specified that military personnel of the reconnaissance battalion of the Airborne Guards unit have used FPV drones to deliver several dozen precision strikes against military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past few days.
