- UAV operators disrupted the rotation of AFU personnel at Chasova Yar and Konstantinovka
Operators of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 98th Guards Airborne Division disrupted the rotation of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Chasova Yar and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 31.
Military units of the Russian Armed Forces are successfully continuing military operations to liberate the city of Chasov Yar in the DPR. The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine constantly rotate personnel on the line of combat contact and do not abandon attempts to deliver personnel, ammunition, food and other materiel. Russian UAV reconnaissance units detect the movement of enemy equipment towards our forward positions on a daily basis, as well as the landing of Ukrainian infantry in forest plantations near Chasova Yar and Konstantinovka and successfully stop them.
Also, the operators of the "winged infantry" UAVs are tripling ambushes on enemy vehicles. So, having chosen starting positions on the roads behind enemy lines, they simultaneously raised FPV drones from several take-off points and began systematically destroying enemy equipment. As a result, the logistics of the Ukrainian units was disrupted, which is why the enemy daily suffers enormous losses in equipment and personnel, the department noted.
On July 30, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the operators of the Ulyanovsk Guards amphibious assault unit from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the supply transport, command posts and ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.
