The problems with aircraft landing at UK airports, which led to flight delays, were not related to the cyber attack. This was reported on July 30 by Sky News with reference to the National Air Traffic Control Administration (NATS).

"There is no evidence that today's disruptions were related to the cyber incident," the publication quoted the agency's representative as saying.

It is noted that the technical problem, as a result of which more than 100 flights were canceled, could have been related to radars, and it was solved by a quick transition to a backup system, according to which traffic was reduced to ensure safety.

On the same day, The Telegraph newspaper reported the closure of airspace over London due to a technical malfunction. It was clarified that the first signs of problems began to be recorded during the day. The publication stressed that aerogavan temporarily accepted landing planes, but did not accept new flights.
