- The military of the Russian Armed Forces told the details of the liberation of Temirovka in the Zaporozhye region
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began using Soviet-Russian weapons instead of weapons supplied by NATO. This was reported on July 31 by servicemen of the Armed Forces of the 127th Motorized Rifle Division of the 5th Army of the Vostok group of forces, who participated in the liberation of Temirovka in the Zaporizhia region.
"Maybe they also realized that Russian weapons are the best in the world, maybe they have run out of supplies, but recently [they have been using] Russian-Soviet weapons," said the deputy battalion commander with the call sign Shah.
It also became known that the Ukrainian military had fortified the defense line in advance — the site was covered from the southwest by a water barrier, strongpoints and minefields were equipped in the settlement.
"The battalion had to go through seven forest belts before entering — about 15-17 km. The enemy retreated only in a desperate situation, but more often they held on to the last," added a military man with the call sign Shah.
During the radio intercepts, the military realized that the enemy's moral and psychological state was extremely low. On the recordings, the Ukrainian military could be heard complaining that they had been sent into battle for 10 days, but had not been picked up for 40.
On July 31, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian military personnel in the SVR zone. The ministry noted the actions of Senior Lieutenant Dmitry Lukyanov, who, as part of an assault group, carried out the task of capturing a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants located on the path of the Russian troops' offensive.
