In the first half of 2025, Moscow decided to allocate more than 180 hectares of land for the construction of residential, social, industrial and commercial facilities. This was announced on Wednesday, July 30, by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Urban Planning and Construction.
According to him, the involvement of land plots in economic turnover contributes to the development of urban infrastructure, the construction of private homes and the creation of jobs. In total, it is planned to implement more than 100 projects, the total area of future real estate is about 2.2 million square meters, writes RT.
According to Ekaterina Solovyova, head of the City Property Department, 177 hectares have been allocated for 50 major investment projects. In addition, almost 2 hectares will be put up for auction for the construction of commercial facilities, and another 5.8 hectares are intended for individual housing construction, the Moscow City News agency notes.
