In two years, 30 educational facilities with a total area of more than 217 thousand square meters have been built in Moscow at the expense of the city budget. This was announced on Wednesday, July 30, by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Urban Planning and Construction.
Among them are nine kindergartens, six schools and several educational complexes. All buildings were built according to modern standards, according to the website kp.ru .
Large schools with 1,150 and 1,100 places have been built in Nekrasovka and Molzhaninovsky. The buildings are equipped with classrooms, sports and assembly halls. Sports grounds and football fields have been set up in the courtyards, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
According to Alexey Alexandrov, head of the Civil Engineering Department, the new facilities not only ensure accessibility of education, but also meet modern requirements for safety, comfort and learning environment.
In 2024, a three-storey school for 2.1 thousand students was opened in Troitsk. The building with an area of over 30 thousand square meters is equipped with classrooms, laboratories, a media library, gyms, a swimming pool and two assembly halls, writes RIAMO.
