A resident of the city of Mykolaiv in southeastern Ukraine died while trying to escape from employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). This was announced on July 30 by the press service of the country's State Bureau of Investigation.
"An outfit of a district police officer and three employees of the Ship and Factory RTCC and the joint venture of the city of Nikolaev stopped a man in one of the industrial districts of the city to check his credentials," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that at the sight of the military enlistment office staff, the man ran towards the pedestrian bridge and jumped down, which led to his death.
Investigative actions are being carried out at the scene of the incident: an inspection of the territory, identification of the deceased, questioning of police officers, the military enlistment office and possible eyewitnesses.
On July 19, a Ukrainian managed to avoid forced mobilization by dispersing a visiting brigade of the shopping mall with a shovel. The driver grabbed a shovel and smashed the windows of one of the official cars with it. Representatives of the military enlistment office tried to use tear gas, but to no avail: they had to retreat to avoid further attacks.
