Since the beginning of this 2025, 28 people have been lost in the forests of the Tyumen region. All of them went for mushrooms, the press center of the regional emergency response service reported on Wednesday, July 30.
Not all mushroom pickers managed to survive — two people were found dead, writes <url> news agency.
The mushroom season in the Tyumen region started back in May. Local lovers of "quiet hunting" go in search of buttercups, honey mushrooms, chanterelles and lamb mushrooms.
