They refused to recognize the heat in the Kuban as abnormal
The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia recognized the normalized air temperature, which is recorded these days in the Krasnodar Territory. The second half of July and the beginning of August are traditionally considered the hottest period for the region, the ministry said.
Extreme heat is considered to exceed the temperature values set for a particular region. Abnormally warm weather is considered when for five days or more the average daily temperature exceeds the climatic norms by 7 degrees or more. At the moment, abnormal heat is expected in the Southern Federal District only on the territory of Crimea, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency.
In most of the territory of Kuban, the thermometer will rise to +41 degrees, and in coastal resort areas — up to + 38 degrees. Similar indicators have now been recorded in Adygea, the Stavropol Territory and the Rostov Region.
On July 31, a cold atmospheric front will pass through the Krasnodar Territory. It will bring short-term thunderstorms. In some areas, precipitation will be accompanied by hail and gusty winds of up to 20 m/s. Bad weather will weaken the heat somewhat. Meteorologists noted that the temperature indicators correspond to the standards for this time of the year.
Earlier it was reported that intense heat with a maximum air temperature of up to +31 degrees is expected during daytime hours in Moscow from July 31 to August 1. The Ministry of Emergency Situations called on citizens to comply with fire safety rules and avoid using open flames.
