Peskov noted technological preparedness during the earthquake in Kamchatka

Technological preparedness proved to be at the highest level during the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in the Kamchatka Territory. This was announced on July 30 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"There is, let's say, technological readiness here — it has justified itself and shown itself at a high level," he said during a briefing.

According to him, all the warning systems worked in a timely manner. Peskov clarified that the tsunami also organized the evacuation of local residents from those places where it could be carried out.
