The Primorsky Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection after numerous complaints about non-compliance with the temperature regime in regional trains. On social media, locals and tourists write that the cars are stuffy and hot.

The prosecutors, together with specialists from Rospotrebnadzor, conducted an inspection of trains that run in the direction of Vladivostok – Knevichi and back. Information about exceeding the permissible temperature level in the wagons has been confirmed, writes IA PrimaMedia with reference to the supervisory authority.

The Prosecutor's Office initiated bringing to administrative responsibility the carrier, JSC "Express Primorye". The cases were initiated under articles of the Administrative Code "Violation of sanitary legislation" and "Violation of regulatory requirements for occupational safety".

The situation in the trains was taken over by the prosecutor's office.

Earlier, doctors from leading clinics and medical centers said that abnormally high temperatures pose a serious threat to the cardiovascular system. Temperatures above 25 degrees are already uncomfortable for the body, vascular spasm and fluid retention may occur. The load on the heart increases and its blood supply itself deteriorates due to lack of oxygen and loss of trace elements such as potassium and magnesium.
