Cultural, economic, historical facts, as well as key events in Russia and abroad – since June 9, passengers of the CPPK have watched 1,600 hours of information content on the Izvestia news channel.

The videos are broadcast on 210 screens on Kazan–bound express trains running on the Moscow – Ramenskoye and Moscow-Golutvin routes. On average, more than 3.5 million trips are made on these express trains per year. The project is being implemented as part of the information cooperation between the CPPK and the Izvestia Information Center.

During 2025-2026, it is planned to increase the number of trains with the content of the TV channel.

The multimedia content is updated weekly and covers a wide range of topics, from science, culture, and history to socio-economic events. This allows passengers to stay informed about the latest news and at the same time spend time on the road usefully. All videos are accompanied by text captions.

The color design, font combination and frame length are adapted so that the information is perceived as conveniently and comfortably as possible for viewing on the go.

The information partnership between Izvestia and CPPK has become another step towards making important news, scientific discoveries and world events closer and more accessible — even on the go.
