Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured as a result of fire from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) at a humanitarian aid distribution point in the area of the Netzarim corridor in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by The Times of Israel on July 30.

"Two people were killed and several injured as a result of Israeli fire near the humanitarian aid distribution center," the article says.

It is clarified that on the morning of July 30, there were also reports of eight wounded as a result of Israeli shelling at the Al-Nabulsi intersection in western Gaza, where people were waiting for the arrival of humanitarian aid trucks.

The IDF has not yet responded to the accusations.

Earlier, on July 26, the Israeli army announced the resumption of air drops of humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip. It was noted that the corresponding action is a step towards refuting the rumors of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas about hunger among the inhabitants of the region.

At the same time, on July 27, journalist Muhammad Mattar told Izvestia that people in the Gaza Strip were queuing for hours near a charity kitchen. According to him, the food crisis in Gaza has worsened due to the closure of checkpoints, the shelling of the charity kitchen and its employees by the occupying forces. As noted by the residents of the region, they do not even have bread and flour.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
