Aeroflot has fully stabilized its flight schedule after information system failure
Aeroflot has fully restored the flight schedule after a malfunction in the information systems. This was announced on Wednesday, July 30, by the press service of the carrier.
"As of July 30, the airline's schedule includes 241 paired flights from Moscow and back, as well as 73 flights in the regions," the Aeroflot Telegram channel clarified.
The airline clarified that passengers can get up-to-date information about departures on the online scoreboard of the airline's official website, as well as on the websites and scoreboards of departure airports.
On July 28, Aeroflot cancelled 54 paired flights, and 12 more flights were later cancelled. The reason was the malfunction of the airline's information system. It is specified that tickets for cancelled flights are subject to refund or reissue for dates within 10 days. A criminal case has been opened into a hacker attack on the airline's information system.
