Khabarovsk Territory is preparing for the exhibition "Street of the Far East" within the framework of the WEF

Khabarovsk Krai will present economic achievements, advanced technological developments, master plans of cities, tourism and products from local manufacturers at the Far East Street exhibition, which will be held on September 3-9 as part of the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum. The title of this year's exhibition is "Khabarovsk Krai – Industrial and Technological sovereignty and Import independence." The exhibition is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District.

"The Khabarovsk Territory is a core region of the Russian Far East and is one of the largest and most industrially developed regions. By the end of 2024, the Khabarovsk Territory showed positive dynamics in a number of indicators. Industrial production and investments in fixed assets increased by 5.5% and 32.5%, respectively. According to the actual investments of projects with state support, the region ranks third among the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, and second in terms of jobs created. A priority development area, a free port, and financial and infrastructural support measures are working to support investors. The most modern military and civilian aircraft and ships are being built on the territory of the region. A powerful aircraft manufacturing cluster on a national scale is developing on the basis of aviation plants. The economic development of the region, in turn, begins to stimulate the social sphere, helps to improve people's lives. The appearance of cities is changing. On behalf of the President of Russia, two master plans are being implemented in the Khabarovsk Territory - the Khabarovsk agglomeration and the city of Komsomolsk–on-Amur. The Khabarovsk Territory exposition will be located in two buildings connected by a covered bridge. The total area of the futuristic-style pavilion will be 550 square meters. The interior of the first floor of the main building will be divided into five key zones. Special attention will be paid to the development of Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island, a joint cross–border territory of Russia and China.

In the Khabarovsk City Master Plan area, the prospects for the development of the regional capital will be demonstrated on a multimedia screen. The video series will be supplemented with a layout of the new city district. The Metal Mining space will be dedicated to the minerals extracted in the region. The central element of the site will be a geometric figure with realistic models of nuggets, precious metals and crystals.

The combined zone "Everything for Victory" and "Aviation and Shipbuilding" will tell about the industrial potential of the Khabarovsk Territory and the parade dedicated to the Victory over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II on September 3. An exhibition of mock-ups of airplanes and ships will be held at the site, with the help of holograms, samples of products for the needs of the military will be demonstrated.

In the Tourism zone, visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn about key tourist sites and the most sought-after routes in the region. The exhibition includes information materials about the natural, cultural and historical sights of the region.

A business space for meetings and negotiations will be organized on the second floor of the pavilion of the region. The small space will house an exhibition and sale of products manufactured under the umbrella brand "Made in Khabarovsk Krai". The site will be divided into three zones: light industry products, food and fish processing industries. In the eco-bar, visitors will be offered coffee fermented with wild plants and berries, herbal teas and snacks.

In the outdoor part of the region, guests of the exhibition will be able to visit the recreation area with hot and cold drinks. In addition, the pavilion will be equipped with a stage for performances by creative teams of the region. In particular, the performance of the Far East State Concert Ensemble of the Khabarovsk Regional Philharmonic is expected as part of the cultural program.

The X Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 3-6 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok. These days, the exhibition will be available to Forum participants, and on September 7, 8 and 9, it will open to all comers. The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
