The head of the Kamchatka Territory announced the absence of serious victims after the earthquake.

After the earthquake in Kamchatka, an icing of the region was carried out, which showed that there were no victims or serious injuries during the seismic event. This was announced on July 30 by the Governor of the Kamchatka Territory, Vladimir Solodov.

"According to the results of the survey, which was conducted, there are no serious injuries, there are no victims. One of the damages is the collapse of one of the walls in kindergarten No. 15 in Petropavlovsk—Kamchatsky," the head of the region said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

According to Solodov, the preschool is under renovation, so there were no pupils in it. The adult staff promptly evacuated, and no one was injured.

Oleg Melnikov, the Minister of Health of the region, added that apart from one woman who sought medical help after the earthquake at the airport, there were no other patients. Doctors stated that she had bruised head wounds, the general condition of the victim was satisfactory.

The governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, also said earlier that day that there were no casualties or serious damage after the earthquake and three tsunami waves in the Sakhalin Region.
