Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attacked an apartment building in Belgorod
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Belgorod The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked an apartment building. This was announced on Wednesday, July 30, by Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region.
"In Belgorod, an APU drone attacked an apartment building. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, as a result of the attack, the glazing of about 10 apartments, the facade of the building, as well as 24 cars in the courtyard were damaged.
"I went to the emergency site. We talked with the apartment owners about the order of further actions. We have already completed the process, the city council has begun to inspect the apartments and draw up initial damage reports," Gladkov added.
Gladkov also said that it is necessary to work with the Ministry of Emergency Situations as soon as possible and begin to apply a clearer algorithm of actions for the civilian population after the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone. According to him, Ukrainian militants often attack with several UAVs, and after the first strike, a second one may occur.
He added that in such situations it is necessary to use loudspeakers to warn people and help with evacuation. According to Gladkov, residents should take shelter in rooms without windows — in bathrooms or entrances with blank walls.
Operational services continue to work at the scene, and a house-to-house inspection is underway. Information about the consequences is being clarified.
Gladkov reported on July 29 that three civilians were injured as a result of an attack by an AFU UAV on the village of Nezhegol in the Belgorod region. According to the head of the region, the militants of the Kiev regime struck a truck using an FPV drone. The injured were taken to the hospital.
