Tsunami threat declared in Alaska and Hawaii after Kamchatka earthquake

A tsunami threat has been announced in Alaska and Hawaii after a powerful earthquake in Kamchatka, FOX News channel reported on July 29.

"The entire state of Hawaii is under a tsunami watch, and some parts of Alaska are under a tsunami warning after a strong 8.0 magnitude earthquake off the east coast of Russia," the TV channel reports.

Also, according to the local meteorological department on the social network X (formerly Twitter), a tsunami threat has been announced in Japan.
