The Air Defense forces eliminated five drones in the skies over two regions of the Russian Federation

The Air Defense Forces have destroyed five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies over two Russian regions. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 30.

"Five Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems: three over the territory of the Tula region and two over the territory of the Kursk region," the ministry said in a Telegram channel.

The statement clarified that the operations to eliminate the UAVs were carried out from 21:50 Moscow time until midnight.

On July 29, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Orel region. The ministry clarified that the UAV was shot down at 21:20 and also belonged to the aircraft type.
