Amphibious aircraft will be deployed in Stavropol to fight for the harvest

In Stavropol, in the next three years, they want to attract a Roshydromet laboratory aircraft to fight for the harvest. This instruction was given to the regional Ministry of Agriculture by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, the press service of the regional government reports.

According to experts, the key to a high harvest in the current 2025 year was a good supply of moisture in the soil, which was formed by spring precipitation. This was facilitated by the operation of an amphibious aircraft.

"If the use of modern technologies is necessary to ensure the food security of the region, we will use them," Vladimirov said, quoted by the StavropolMedia news agency.

A harvesting campaign is currently underway in the region. 97% of the 2.2 million hectares of acreage have already been harvested. The gross harvest is 9.7 million tons of grain, with an average yield of 44.5 quintals per hectare. Both indicators are higher than last year's values.
