Salary expectations of Russians equaled those offered by employers
In June 2025, the salary expectations of applicants and the offers of employers were almost equal, the director of research told Izvestia. hh.ru Maria Ignatova.
"The median salary offered was 75.5 thousand rubles, and the expected income was 75.9 thousand rubles. It should be noted that salary expectations and offers coincide in the field of tourism and the hotel business — 60 thousand rubles, as well as in construction and real estate — the difference is 338 rubles," she said.

"The labor market is showing signs of stabilization: the growth of salary expectations of candidates and employer offers has balanced in 2025. At the beginning of 2025, these figures coincided and remain at the same level: in the second quarter of this year, average salary offers amounted to 82.9 thousand rubles, and average salary expectations — 84.4 thousand rubles," said Roman Gubanov, director of development of this recruiting company.
According to Avito Rabota, salary expectations in the construction and telecommunications sectors are growing the slowest. And the fastest way is in finance.
According to the same data hh.ru in the field of strategies and investments, specialists want to receive 160 thousand rubles, which is 34.4 thousand rubles more than companies are willing to pay.
