The Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian military in the special operation zone

On July 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation.

The ministry noted the actions of Private Timofey Antonenko, who, as part of the evacuation group, performed a combat mission during the offensive of Russian units in one of the important tactical areas. During the offensive, Antonenko heard on the radio that one of the Russian soldiers had been wounded. Then, using a motorcycle, he immediately moved towards the wounded comrade.

Under incessant artillery fire and attacks by FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Timofey reached the wounded man and began to provide first aid. During this, the soldier noticed an enemy drone rapidly approaching them. Antonenko destroyed him in the air with the help of standard small arms. Then he evacuated his comrade to the unit's command post for his subsequent transfer to a field hospital. Antonenko's courageous and professional actions made it possible to save the life of a wounded Russian serviceman.

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted the actions of Corporal Igor Sigitov, who performed combat missions as part of a grenade launcher group in support of Russian assault units conducting offensive operations on positions held by Ukrainian militants. The advance of the Russian assault groups was hampered by the firing position of an enemy heavy machine gun.

Having quickly assessed the situation, the soldier selected the most advantageous position for the AGS, promptly fired and hit the enemy firing point with targeted fire, which allowed the Russian assault groups to get close to the positions of the AFU militants without losses and dislodge them. The professionalism and courage of Corporal Sigitov allowed the capture of enemy positions and the Russian assault units to gain a foothold on new frontiers.
